James B. Lanier, Jr., in September of 1974, opened the first full time office in the area for forestry consulting and real estate appraisals. This sole proprietorship evolved into a regional consulting firm known as Lanier-Brookins, Inc., with offices in Georgia and Alabama offering landowner’s assistance in maximizing profits and sustaining productivity of their lands.
In January 2004, LAND MANAGEMENT GROUP (LMG) began as a service division dedicated to private, institutional and industry level landowners to meet the specialized demands of forestry-related activities, rural property appraisals and brokerage needs.
